The Old Sugar Mill is proud present Crush Festival 2010

September 11th and 12th from 11am to 5pm.  This is the “Best Experience in Winemaking” in the Sacramento Region.  All six wineries will showcase what it means to be a winemaker in beautiful Clarksburg.  You’ll be able to stomp grapes, bottle your own wine, and barrel taste future wines.  Bring your friends and compete in the grape stomping, and other wine competitions and wine great prizes. Then enjoy the delta breeze with a bottle of wine on the covered patio while listening to live music.

Tickets are $15.00/day online or $20.00/day at the door and include a commemorative wine glass, entry in the grape stomping competition, live music on the plaza, winery and crush pad tours, barrel tasting, bottle your own wine event, and of course complementary wine tastings both days from 11-5pm.  Local food vendors will also be offering a selection of lunch choices for purchase.

The Historic Old Sugar Mill is home to a unique community of six California wineries and their signature wines: Todd Taylor Wines, Three Wine Company, The Solomon Wine Company, Heringer Estates, Clarksburg Wine Company, and Carvalho Family Wines. The Old Sugar Mill is located in the Clarksburg AVA (American Viticulture Area), an area where vineyards share the same cool breezes from the San Francisco Bay that shape the growing seasons in the vineyards of Napa and Sonoma.  The wineries at the Old Sugar Mill are a bridge to the rich agricultural heritage of the region, whose vineyards are staking their claim alongside the great wine growing regions of the world.
